A comic series and author ecosystem

Every author is one of these characters.

Books, Bling & Business follows authors at every stage, from launch day silence to a lasting legacy. Find your character, then get the ecosystem built for your stage: visibility, clients, and a legacy in the book universe.

Meet the cast

Which stage of the author journey are you in?

Each character stands for a stage every author passes through. Barry is published but invisible. The Fox is ready to turn the book into a business. The Owl is building a legacy. Each stage has its own problems, and its own part of the ecosystem.

Stage finder

Find your character in four questions

1. Where is your book right now?
2. If someone searches your name today, what do they find?
3. What do you want most in the next 12 months?
4. Which line from Episode 001 hits closest?

The ecosystem

What does an author need to be visible in the book universe?

Visibility comes in stages. First, readers and AI search have to be able to find you. Then the book has to lead to an offer. Then your work has to keep reaching people without you. The ecosystem covers all three.

  1. Stage 1BarryPublished, not found

    The Visibility Foundation

Get found by the readers and clients already looking.

    • Author visibility audit. Where you show up today in search and AI answers, and where you don't
    • Author website with AI visibility. Built by Sovereo Web Works to be found and cited by Google, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity
    • Amazon author and book page cleanup. Bio, categories and description that match how readers search
    • Reader magnet and email list. A free chapter, checklist or bonus that turns readers into contacts

Questions authors ask

FAQ

What is the Books, Bling & Business author ecosystem?

It is a set of services for authors at every stage, from getting found to building a business to leaving a legacy. Each stage is represented by a character from the comic, so you can see where you are and what comes next.

How do I know which stage I'm in?

Take the stage finder on the home page. Four questions place you with Barry, the Fox or the Owl, and point you to the services that fit that stage.

Why doesn't publishing a book bring in clients?

A book proves you know something. It does not tell the reader what to do next. Without your own site, a free next step and a clear offer, readers finish the book and move on.

Is putting my book on Amazon enough?

No. Amazon sells books and keeps the customer relationship. It does not give you your readers' names or emails, so it cannot become a client pipeline on its own.

What does it mean to be visible in AI search?

Tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews answer questions by citing websites. If your site is built to be read and cited, those tools can name you when someone asks about your topic.

How much does it cost?

Every author starts in a different place, so packages are scoped on a short strategy call. Apply on the Start page and you will hear back with the right next step for your stage.
